Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the glass repair, replacement, and installation services provided by Sloan Way Auto Glass ("Sloan Way Auto Glass," "we," "us," or "our") to customers ("you" or "customer"). By requesting or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms.
Services Provided
We provide glass repair, replacement, and installation services for automotive, aircraft, and marine applications, including but not limited to windshield repair and replacement, vehicle window glass installation, aircraft glass services, and boat or marine glass replacement.
Inspections & Assessments
Before performing work, we may inspect the vehicle, aircraft, vessel, or glass involved to assess the condition of the glass and surrounding frame. This assessment informs our recommended course of action and any quote provided.
Quotes & Estimates
Quotes and estimates are based on the information and condition observed at the time of assessment. Estimates are not final invoices, and actual costs may differ if the scope of work changes as described below.
Project Agreements
Work begins only after you have approved a quote or project agreement, whether provided verbally, in writing, or electronically. The agreed scope of work, pricing, and estimated timeline will be communicated to you before work starts.
Payment Terms
Services are billed by invoice. Payment is due according to the terms stated on the invoice unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing. For certain projects, we may require a deposit or milestone-based payments before beginning or continuing work; any such requirement will be disclosed before work begins.
Changes to Scope of Work
If additional work, materials, or repairs are identified once a job is underway, we will contact you to discuss the change before proceeding. Any change in scope may result in an updated quote or invoice.
Existing or Concealed Conditions
Vehicles, aircraft, and vessels may have existing damage, corrosion, prior repairs, or other concealed conditions that are not visible until glass is removed or work begins. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions unrelated to the glass service performed, and any additional work needed to address such conditions will be communicated to you before proceeding.
Customer-Supplied Information
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your vehicle, aircraft, or vessel, including make, model, year, and any relevant specifications. Delays or additional costs resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer are the customer's responsibility.
Cancellations
You may cancel a scheduled service by contacting us as far in advance as possible. Cancellations made shortly before a scheduled appointment may affect the availability of future scheduling and, where a deposit has been paid, may be subject to the deposit terms disclosed at the time of booking.
Scheduling & Delays
Scheduling is provided in good faith but may be affected by factors outside our control, including parts availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any known delays as soon as reasonably possible.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sloan Way Auto Glass's liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the services provided.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Sloan Way Auto Glass operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
